Default 85' DS F&R Switch wiring

I just purchased a 1985 Club Car DS and I am trying to figure out the correct wiring for the F&R switch, the previous owner had removed most of the wires so I don't have anything to go off of. I looked at the schematic for the cart but find it hard to make out the F&R wiring, I did find 2 other pictures that are wired totally different, so just wondering which one is correct, or will both ways work? My ipad will only let me post one picture at a time for some reason.

Do you have the newer or older style F-R?

I'll have to look in the morning and maybe post a pic, are the two switches I posted different?

The two pictures you posted are of the newer switch. The older one will have a square body, and have longer mounting bolts with spacers to space it a good 1" or so off the back of the body

This is the switch I have, i plan on replacing it, but would like to wire it up for testing purposes to see if the motor is good and if all solenoids are working.

The diagram you posted works for the switch pictured

You may want to do a quick continuity test of the switch especially if the cart fails to run, that thing looks nasty.

Thanks ScottyB, I'll be sure to check it, you're right it's in pretty bad shape. This is my first club car, and I was impressed how easy the body is to remove compared to the ezgo's I've worked on, also even though there are 5 solenoids it looks like a very simple machine to work on.

I am having a little trouble determining where the low current wires go, I have a red and blue from the key switch and a yellow from the pedal box and a yellow from the solenoids. From what I can tell this is how to wire it but not sure about one of the yellows

Red to the negative terminal on the charger receptacle
Blue to the F&R microswitch
Yellow from the solenoids to the F&R microswitch
Yellow from the pedal box to ?????

Looking at the diagram it appears that it goes to the battery + on the F&R switch?
