09 club car precedent speed upgrade etc
I've been reading here but am slightly confused
I have a stock 09 precedent (serial starts with ph). I'm looking to do a few mods and have a few questions What's the easiest way to get to level 5 programming? What's the best lift/tire combo? I need the aluminum flip bed/seat....best place to order?? I'm in Tx. Thanks in advance for your assistance!!! Brice |

Re: 09 club car precedent speed upgrade etc
Speed Code 5........You can't get that for your cart. You have an Excel cart and the programmer only works on IQ carts. Now, you can go to a CC dealer and get them to program Speed Code 4, which will give you 19.6mph
As for the rear seat, order it from site sponsor Steeleng. I have heard great things about their products and service |

I got my wheels and tires from golf cart king one of the site sponsors. They had the best price by far and the service was great. I ended up getting my lift kit which is a madjax on amazon because of the price.

Re: 09 club car precedent speed upgrade etc
If you call Steeleng and talk to Wayne he can get you setup with a good backseat with the desired aluminum plating. I've used the flip seats from Steeleng, madjax, mrgolfcart, and a few others. The newest Madjax unit has a nice thick plastic frame with a molded lip around the edge. As far as I have seen, it is the best fitting unit out there when it comes to the two parts mating up when flipped out for carrying stuff.
