I should add that all modern controllers are programmable. It is how easy they are to program that makes a difference.

After I get a 500 amp GE will the PQ bandit help and be of any advantage? Ive read conflicting results from the bandit is just a rebuilt stock with not really any advantages to it's awesome and worth every penny?

When I upgraded to my 500Amp controller I really didn't notice that much of an improvement with my PQ motor. But when I combined the controller with a 7HP AMD motor the improvement was awesome.
Don't get me wrong the PQ motor was great and it did its job for 2 years. I just outgrew it. The hills here in Chattanooga were slowing me down. That may not be a problem for you in Valdosta.
