Rebuild or part out ?
I recently acquired a 2002 club car 48v it's lifted has over size tires , body is in decent shape it had no batteries a local told me to jump the motor to see if it was good but when I went to losen nuts they twisted off so now I'm stuck ! I'm already gonna be dropping 800-1100 for batteries what can I do ! I know this can get expensive real quick ! Any help would be appreciated !

Re: Rebuild or part out ?
Got any pics? Where are you located? Someone on the forum may be happy to come give you some assistance with it? Also, what's the serial number? It'll help us identify the drive system. If we can identify the drive system we can help you fix it up and make it into a better vehicle than it ever was before.

Re: Rebuild or part out ?
Sure. Post some pics. It's a 2002 Club Car DS with the 48 Volt Series drive system. It's a good solid built car with lots of potential.

Re: Rebuild or part out ?
Plum Quick can do a Bandit rebuild on the motor for around $250. I wouldn't part it out. It is a great platform to build on

Re: Rebuild or part out ?
Nice cart to start with ,you can go fast or a mountain climber or somewhere in between . as long as the frame isn't broke and the body is good its worth the build
