Exclamation 2001 cc ds 36v-glide problems mucho

I have a club car serial # AB0120-019575 Battery pack at idle is 37.4 when pedal pressed 35.5 but cart will just inch forward but no further in forward or reverse. Top two lugs of v glide are dark like they've gotten hot. Also when pedal is pushed if you put your hands down by the resistors they are pretty warm especially the first set. Any test someone could show me. V glide test , motor test, and resistor test also f/r switch test. I know how to use a multimeter, just throwing it out there. Thanks in advance

Take the cover off the v-glide and make sure the wiper arm is making its full travel arc as the pedal is depressed.

Is this cart lifted with big tires? This usually happens when excessive strain is put on the drive system.

Something is causing excessive resistance and building up a lot of heat. It could be corrosion in the cables. How do the cables themselves look?

How do you use it? Excessive amperage draw causes such heat. Either your asking too much of it or the something is drawing excess amperage. All the amps traveling between the battery pack and the motor go thru the V glide
