Anyone know what dip switch setting to use on NAPA 8 volt batteries?

I don't know much about these things, hopefully Scottyb or someone that owns a DPI will come along.

Well Guys, I called DPI and spoke to a Tech Guy by the name of Rick. He told me to use "Mode setting 2 (two) "for my NAPA batteries. I think that is the Trojan setting.
Hope this helps others.

The only thing that makes me a little skeptical is the fact that every post I have ran across where people spoke with DPI in reference to their type battery, they told them to use mode #2. Coincidence ???? I hope so. Anyway I will give it a try.

Here is the adsorption voltages for each of the four modes.

Mode 1 61.6 Vdc

Mode 2 57.2 Vdc

Mode 3 57.6 Vdc

Mode 4 58.4 Vdc

Literature says use mode 4 for Crowns.

It never mentions equalization voltages in the manual. If you would switch to mode 1 once a month and back after one charge that would equalize your batteries. 61.6Vdc is an equalization voltage.
