07 Presedent problem
I have just started to notice when cruising it seems that the motor is cutting out just for a second or two, all battery cables are secure and in good condition. Seems like maybe the pedal control has a loose connection somewhere...any idea's of what is wrong?...I have the 4 /12 volt bat. config.

Re: 07 Presedent problem
Most likely an MCOR needing to be replaced.

Re: 07 Presedent problem
Are you sure that you haven't hit the max speed for your Speed Code programming? The speed is governed by the controller. It will stop accelerating when it hits its predetermined top speed.

Re: 07 Presedent problem
Next time it starts doing it, switch to neutral and work the go pedal up and down 20 times real fast. If the problem goes away, it's the MCOR. Mine has been doing it for a couple of years and this will take care of it for a while. When it comes back, just do it again. There's a variable resistor inside tat gets dirty. Working it fast a few times kind of cleans off the contact points.

Re: 07 Presedent problem
I agree, check the MCOR. You've got the classic symptoms.
