Default New thread. Need help with old DS

Ok, I've got a couple of threads on here, but it's probably better to start a new one.

Got an early 80's DS, solenoid cart. Newer batts, CC charger.

I left it on the charger overnight. And it was still cranking some amps when I went out to check it this morning.

I have a gps speedometer on my phone, and she only wants to go 8-9 mph on flat ground.

I can hear solenoids engage, but the first two clicks wont move the cart, third click it'll jump and go. And if I floor it, I don't hear anything, but it tries to go a little faster. Guys say I should see 12mph. How do I check the solenoids? Is there any way to make it go faster with the stock motor and what I've outlined above? Or is it doomed to be a single digit speed?

It's actually better to have fewer threads, that way people can follow along easier.
Have you double checked your wiring and insured it's correct?

Yeah, I think it's all good,. I went off of the diagrams you guys gave me, and from the pics I took before I pulled it apart.

One of my batteries is gassing off pretty hard. Not boiling. Just kind of bubbling a bit. Is that normal?

Yes, completely normal during charging.

And you are hearing five loud clicks as you press the GO pedal correct? You can actually check them with the cart in neutral and the key switch on.
