Default Bubbling batteries

Hello, 02 Ds IQ , ive recently upgraded my cables from cruddy originals to 4ga. This evening i plugged the charger back in after a cupla days of being off of it. The charger started off in normal fashion and is now hanging at around 5 amps and the batteries are bubbling and gurgling. Its abnormally quiet in here this eve, is this bubbling normal or do i possibly have issues ? Thanks

That is normal. The charger hasn't been on for more than 16 hours, correct?

The charger should be connected any time the cart is not in use. This will make them last longer, and be better for them.
The charger can run up to 16 hrs when the batteries have been run down pretty low. It should turn off after that.

If you feel uncomfortable unhook the charger for a while, then check water level in the batteries. Measure the voltage, then reconnect the charger and let it charge again.

The sound you hear is hydrogen gas being released. It is a necessary part of the charge cycle, google it for some interesting reading while you wait.
