4vertical,
Thanks, I think that's a PQ product BU buys from them. I think it will work but it is semi-permanent install.

but the add says that it can just stay on there. the more permanent the better imho.

I was also thinking of those big switches that they use as battery disconnects on race cars. i looked up a few on jegs but not sure they can withstand the constant amp pull. also i remember seeing onew with a removeable key. But in my quick search I couldn't find one. one of those mounted under the fnr would work out well too I think. as long as it can't be tampered with from the inside

Those racing disconnects probably aren't rated for this current load, and they're pretty bulky.

If I had ** $$...I'd just lojack the cart...that way I could have a little fun with scumbags. I'm going to just loop a Kriptonite cable thru the rims and around the leaf...and hopefully my motor won't bend the $hit out of everything.!

any interrupt switch doesn't do so well if they have a trailer and two guys to push... Heck with 4 they can pick it up and carry

The best method I have seen.................
(and this if you have custom wheels)

Run a chain through a rubber hose, then run the hose & chain through the spokes of each wheel, and loop it around at least one side of the frame and use a good lock.

They can't get your cart or your wheels easily. it's a great deterrent.

Of course, Nothing is fail safe.............

I think as long as you do something and take a little precaution then it will be easier for the thieves to go to the next cart or house or whatever they want to steal.....

This thread got me thinking......I just ordered The Club LX and a Club Tire Claw XL. I also use a chain through all of my wheels and go through the frame on the rv and I shine a Very Bright flood light on it.

One night camping I happened to wake up at around 2:30 am and looked outside just as some dude was looking under the seat of my cart. I had no security on it. The first thing he saw when I came out the door of the camper was the business end of my Springfield Amory XD 40 cal. He didn't stick around to talk. They busted the same guy the next night driving a stolen club car out of the campground.
