Yesterday tried to paint the front Cowl, wet sanded down to 600 grit, used special adhesive primer for the paint and Duplicolor rattle can. Didn't come out so well, also last second i got an air blast in the room and got dust over the top surface. Even without the dust, it still looks crappy.

Onward to other ideas on the cheap LOL

Round #2 Painted with Dupli Color, primed with an adhesive for plastics, last second I tried to move it and rolled it to the floor scratching it some. I'll have to re-sand it with 600 grit and respray then clear coat it. Anyway this is what it looks like.
I was going to either wrap it or buy another body set but with the Oil economy slow right now I'm experimenting the poor man way.

Sorry the Pic was dark and grainy, it actually came out nice.

Here are two better Pics, I think it will look nice once all yellow, i may add either some sort of black stripes or maybe flame wrap? I think that would be affordable. I can't believe how the paint came out so well, it does look factory, (other than where I scratched it), I didn't even clear it yet. I figure what do I have to loose, it can always be redone or wrapped etc right.

The seats are stock, I didn't do anything but want to recover it eventually. The primer is dupli color primer, adhesive promoter clear.
