It has been a while since my last update, I rattle canned this paint job. If I had a shop or closed environment I think it would of came out much better, If you look close you will see the defects. A few feet away it looks like this...

Also!
Next time I'll try with a spray gun If I'd do it again, it is just too unpredictable & very difficult to fix the screw ups with a can. Had issues with the body in spots, it was prepped and cleaned and sanded, & primed thoroughly and when it came to the top coat it orange peeled in spots randomly, not sure what was the cause but it required a repaint a week later. I should of just purchased a body it was time consuming to get what I have and it isn't perfect.

Thanks Dave it was a lot of work up real close you see where it is messed up, frustrating for me but once on the cart and cleaned up I'm happy with it. It was like fix one issue and create another over and over.

Hey Scooterman, just found your thread and was curious if you found a mirror solution for your topless ride. I've got a similar config, but really haven't found the right application yet.

And now I do see a mirror in one of the latest pictures. My windshield stands a bit shorter, so I was looking for side-mounts.

Look closely at the yellow cart pics, driver side bottom of the windshield bar, you'll see the mirror. I have another up top in the middle by the steering wheel also but neither one is a good solution as they aren't tall enough. They make a bunch of motorcycle & off road mirrors that clamp onto the bars but none I could find for 1 1/4" tube. I was thinking of getting one anyways and modifying it.

Scooterman,
I just found and read your Roadster build post, great job, I like that a lot.

Someone asked already about your seats, and I did see your response, but the upholstery doesn't look factory. They are nicely contoured, and I would like some just like it.

Is it a factory seat with newer foam and new cover?

Thank you,
George

I brought it like that, supposedly it came from a Colorado golf course. I would like to recover them in black just like it is now, they do look good compared to my other cart stock seats, I bet they had someone make these.

Thank you for the response, I'll keep looking. And if you find some black seats, I want your beige seats, LOL
