Default Plastic discoloration Club car precedent

Any tips and tricks to add some life back into the black molding around my club car precedent ? It's showing sines of being out in the sun too much.

Has anyone ever tried to spray paint it? Results?

Armor All, any tire shine stuff, or that as seen on TV product "wipe new" would be better than paint IMO.

Krylon makes a paint just for that, I've used it and it looks great, be sure to prep the plastic first so it sticks well.

I use the heat gun on ones that aren't too bad. Mothers back to black works, Bondo brand has a black restore that works pretty good too.

Replacing both lower side pieces is another option for $65 + shipping

DOT 5 Silicone Brake Fluid will make sun faded black plastic look like new and keep it that way for quite some time...

"Wipe New" works well and I am about to do my 06 again before the summer. Definitely lasts longer than armor all type stuff. I bought an 07 last year that had been redone and all of the trim had been repainted - looked brand new. Painting is probably the best option but given the effort required, the wipe new is not a bad option.

Mr.Clean Magic Erasers work good, also Rust-Oleum Professional Flat,or semi-flat both work good.Clean everything good, and use a light coat,if it soaks it in,you may need to recoat, but I've had better luck with durability and finish on this paint than the Fusion and other brands.
