Speed Issues - 2001 Club Car 48 Volt

I have a 2001 Club Car 48 Volt golf cart that I am having speed issues with. It is lifted with 22in tires. All new Trojan 8 volt batteries that have been load tested and all good. Curtis 400 amp controller. Cart is only running about 6 MPH. With batteries fully charged I'm getting a reading of around 52 volts on the batteries, same reading on battery side of solenoid, a small drop on other side of solenoid at I should, but from the controller to the motor it drops to 27 volts with pedal all the way down. Does that mean I am only getting 1/2 the power to the motor? I know it is not the controller, nor the batteries, so what should I check next? Accelerator? If so, what would be the proper way of testing?

I believe it is the power drive system (DS). There is a battery warning light on the dash and there is NO tow on/off switch. Not currently by the cart or I could tell you more.

Just in case here is the manual for your cart. Have you tried to push your cart and see if it will try to stop? Not sure how it would be tested on this model, maybe others will chime in, I peeked at the schematic but couldn't see anything about a speed sensor on the motor.

Power Drive system is a Series cart.

Check the Micro Switch #3 in the FNR for half-speed reverse. If the cart goes faster in reverse, the switch is wired wrong.

Otherwise just by-pass the switch by jumping the Green with the White wires to see if it is bad.

If I push the cart, I do not believe it will not try and stop. I will confirm this evening, but pretty sure it wont. The cart is a series cart. I was thinking it might be the Controller or the MCOR (Motor Controller Output Regulator). I tested with another controller I had on hand and was able to rule the controller out pretty quick. I do not have another MCOR sitting around so I was wandering how I would test it to make sure it is working 100% correctly. I will look over the manual you sent and see if it covers this at all. I usually run into issues where something either works or does not work and its easier to rule things out. So correct me if I am wrong, but I should be getting 48+ volts to the motor with the pedal all the way down right? To me this means that something is not telling the controller to put out the full volts to the motor. Would it be anything other than the MCOR? What about the onboard computer and how would I test it?

I will try checking the Micro Switch #3 this evening, but I know for a fact that the cart goes the same speed in reverse. Knowing that it goes the same speed in reverse, would that help tell us anything?

To jump the green W/white wire, I would connect it directly to the White/Black wire correct?

I believe that is Micro Switch #1 if I'm not mistaken. I think I know what you are saying. Micro Switch #3 on my cart has either a white or black wire and I need to connect it strait to the Green which go strait to the controller. Correct?
