Dad almost made it a full day with out an accident!
I just finished my first build, a gift for my folks to show their "Husker" pride in their neighborhood.
Here's the thread with the completed project near the end: http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...t-folks-8.html Presented it to them on Sunday, then Monday morning dad comes in my office telling me he had a slight accident My niece apparently moved the charger in the path of his truck. Soooo, it looks like I'm now in the market for a new charger! I think I've narrowed it down to DPI and Lester with both running around $300 online. Does anyone have any thoughts or preferences on either of these or maybe even a different one? Thanks in advance! Keith |

Put a Want to Buy post in the Parts section for a powerdrive 2 or 3:
http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/golf-carts-parts/ One just sold for $125... lots of people sell them when their OBC goes bad. |

Wow
Have you tested it? It may be able to be fixed... |

I'd test it (and be ready to unplug if you see sparks lol). If it works you might be able to make it resemble a cube again and it'll save some $$.
EDIT: I'd also see if I could get the cover off and inspect things for obviously damaged parts before plugging it in. |

Re: Dad almost made it a full day with out an accident!
I got a new charger ordered today (Club Car DPI Charger - 48V 15A Powerdrive/IQ, from GCK @ $285 shipped!) so hopefully it'll be here by Friday and in time for Easter weekend.
I guess a little of my frustration came out and figured for what I've put into the cart already, what's another $300 I will try to fix the old one though, if fixable! |

If you can get it working again, it could be a backup for another location if you ever travel with it.
