cart will go but only about 20 feet
My batteries are new. The cart was running one day, then the next it ran for about 30 minutes, then stopped. Now it will only go about 20 feet before it stops. Any ideas on where to look??

to BGW
We need a little more information about the cart? So you know if it's a series or sepex system? The serial will tell both the year and drive system if you could post it. It's on a sticker below the dash. |

I will have to get the seriel number don't have it at the moment. Are you asking if the batteries are connected in series. Yes It has 6 6volt batteries hooked up in series

Re: cart will go but only about 20 feet
Ok, that'd be great.
The batteries are connected in series on all carts, but the drive system itself is called series. Sepex has more features such as speed codes and motor (regen) braking. Since you have a 36v car, you have a series system, as all CC sepex systems are 48v. Does your cart have resistor coils behind the batteries? |

Ok, one last question to determine your system. Does it have a black pie shaped box between the drivers side batteries, or a smaller aluminum rectangular box?

Ok that's called a V-glide and it's your throttle control.
Have you smelled any burning smells while using the cart, or when it quit running? |

Very likely bad battery or bad connection. Check each battery voltage.
