Update:
Sergio was correct. I pulled the mcor back out and installed in back on my cart and put the mcor 3 back on this cart. I noticed that the controller number was off on the last few digits. So on a hunch I put the old controller back in and don't you know it worked! Must have been the solenoid that was burnt and I thought it was the controller I smelled so she's all good. Must have killed the mcor when the solenoid went out and we thought it couldn't be the mcor because it was like a year old. Thanks for all the help guys!!!

The old mcor 3 was missing a screw so it was sticking out a bit on one side and had a crack in it so it must have gotten wet but we thought it was ok because it was the newest part on the cart.
