1990 Club Car 36V not enough power

I have an 1990 Club car. I ended up doing a good bit of customization and it turned out pretty well but it doesn't seem to have enough power especially when I have four people onboard. Am I expecting too much from a 36V system? I have the performance upgrade (torque) from buggies unlimited with a new motor, controller etc. The cart has brand new batteries. Is there anyway I can check the output of the system to see if it is performing at its max?

What controller do you have? Did you upgrade all the high amperage cables?

I am not home and I tried to pull up my order on buggies unlimited and it isn't there. It is thier torque setup for 90-94 Club car. Says high amp controller and wires but it doesn't say what controller on the website.
