Default jerkey movement

I just purchased a electric club car, do not know the year. It jerks when pressing accelerator. It moves but jerks.
1). How do I find the year model and S/N ?
2) what do you think is causing it to jerk along?
Thanks
Chuck

Attached are charts the illustrate where to find the serial number sticker / plate and another to help determine what model of Club Car you have. Here's an example of how to tell the year on a Club Car. AQ0322-XXXXXX - This serial number means that the particular cart is a 2003 (as shown by the 03) Club Car DS 48v equipped with the IQ drive system (as shown by the AQ prefix)

Your serial number will most likely have a different prefix. When you find it, post it up and we will help you determine what it is

As for the jerkiness, I can't help with that until I know the year and drive system of the cart

Ok, a 2004 CC DS 48v with the Series Drive System. Unplug the two-pin connector at the MCOR and jump it with a paperclip. If the issue is solved, you need a new MCOR

I only have six batteries, so is it a 36 or 48 volt?
What is the "MCOR" ?

The DS is the serial number indicates it should be a 48v system. If you have 6 batteries with 4 fill holes per battery, you should be 48v

Exercise the foot pedal by stepping on it and releasing it about 50 times. If that doesn't fix it see your local CC dealer.
