Default 2009 club car 4 batteries been told it may be precedent golf car

taken it to several places but no answer. I am driving along smooth and all of a sudden it just stops. Take my foot of pedal and it will ease off slowly Everyone one thinks they have fixed but still no answer. any ideas?

Sounds like an MCOR issue. The MCOR is the throttle control under the gas pedal.

09 Precedent might have the TPS. Proved very troublesome for Club Car and should have been switched out as warranty work

Since You have already taken the cart to a few places I would assume they have already tested and likely replaced your MCOR.

So for the more unusual problems:

If You have an Excel cart (serial number PH09) that originally had a TPS that got replaced with an MCOR, the problem may be the TPS to MCOR adapter.

The Excel carts that were converted have an adapter under the floor board with some resistors in place that can cause a throttle fault if they are making intermittent connection.
