Default Max Tire / Wheel Size for Non-Lifted 96 DS Two Seater

I have a stock 96 Club Car DS 2 - seater, gray / white seats.

Looking to replace wheels / tires (very tired ones) and not ready to do any lift at this point in time due to summer usage almost here and not much time in between!

Can anyone help with what the maximum fit would be with the cart stock .... There is a local ad with 12x7 with 215/35-12 tires for $410 - seems reasonable to me if they would fit.

I put almost the same size on my '88. And the rubbed in the back when I hit medium bumps. They stick out quite a ways. A set of lift shackles fixed that for me. Took about 20 minutes. I had to cut the top bolt, but that's easy enough.

I think offset is a factor for the fronts. $410 seems super reasonable. Even more so if you can talk him down a few bucks.

I had 12x7 with 215/40-12 on my 92 DS and had zero issues at all with rubbing, and that's with a very slightly larger sidewall than you're looking at.

Picking them up Weds, and headed out to where the cart is this weekend. I will take some before and after pics to share.

I also picked up a 48v maintainer to put on it - should have done it when I replaced the batteries last year but I was being lazy!
