Default no forward

I have a 1991 series cart which I installed scottys conversion kit in last fall, 500 amp controller kit and new f and r switch and new 4 ga wires, ran great until today I put new wires on f and r switch now I have no forward and still runs great in reverse, neck starts hurting after a while of driving in reverse, so not sure where the issue would lie, any help would be appreciated its getting camping season soon
and also still 36 volt with new batteries and a new charger so batteries all up and good

I switched the two wires on the f and r switch and in reverse it runs good forward and nothing when I switch to forward now, does that mean that the f and r switch went bad

Double check all the wiring changes you made. I hope you took pictures or drew pictures.

I would look at the contacts on the f/r switch (rocker block posts) make sure it they are making contact. I had the problem with the reverse post melting into the block just far enough no to make contact.

I see you list Lebanon OH , is that by Wilmington ?

Make sure you are not chasing a bad wire.
I assume you have been switching the cables from S1 and S2 (swivel terminals) at the F&R if yes try swapping the whole cables from side to side.
In other words remove right side at the F&R and motor then move the left side cable to the right side empty terminal at the F&R and motor. Then install the removed cable on the left side.... do all this without shifting the F&R.
If this causes the cart to swap direction then you have a bad cable.
If the cart does not change direction then the F&R may have failed.

I hope this makes sense
