Max-5 Rear Seat
I bought and installed a Max-5 rear seat (custom-inc.com). Well I was going down a ditch and the footrest on the seat bottomed out and cracked. The plastic piece just bolts to the aluminum frame and can be a replaced but I am having an extremely difficult time going through the company to get a replacement. They said that they are only a wholesaler and can't help me. They are being unresponsive.
Anyone know where I can buy a replacement? Any dealers: can you order just that part? Any help is much appreciated as it is driving me nuts to have a cracked part. |

It appears Custom Golf Car Supply is the original source of the Max-5 Elite rear seat. I have one of their seats and love it. However, it's not very encouraging to hear that they won't make a reasonable attempt to help you or direct you to a dealer who can/will. They might have a strict policy not to deal directly with the consumer in an effort to protect their dealers. I would email them again requesting referral to a dealer who can help you out. Keep us posted as to your results...???
