Hi Scotty, can you explain the value of the charger cycling on to recharge if it is floating at full charge?

One more thing the DPI charger would have done. It would have come on and recharged those dead batteries. From the DPI manual

The duration of this stage is dependent on the condition of your battery - approximately 45 seconds under average circumstances, but if your 48V battery pack was allowed to severely discharge to less than 42v (10.5v for every 12v battery), then this stage can last as long as 5hrs.

That's really DEAD....

Was the cart left somewhere where the temps fell below freezing? What's their water levels now?

You will have to either jump out the charging relay inside the charger to get the charger going or use a 12 volt car charger across 2 battery in series for a short duration to boost their voltages; do this to all battery to get pack voltage up to 32/36 (?) volts. Then your cart charger should take off then.

Could I be wrong? Don't think they offered the 4/12 battery package on 2013 carts?

Since it is a 2013 Club Car, it should be 6 x 8v.

You may only have one bad batteries and you are measuring the voltage drop across the high impedance of that battery.

Check the water levels on each battery cell and make sure they are above the plates.

Do Not fill the batteries to the Top until after a full charge.

With 8v batteries you have 2 options:

1) Get two 12v chargers and hook them in series (positive of one charger to negative of the other charger). Place the remaining positive and negative leads from the chargers across three batteries (24v charging). Let the chargers finish the charge.

2) Set your single 12v charger to 2amp output and charge each individual battery manually. You will need to monitor the charge and disconnect the charger when the battery voltage reads 10v. This method will only work if your car charger will even turn on if the battery voltage is too low.

Disconnect the pack negative cable during this pre-charge process to make sure the OBC resets and it is ready to start collecting charging data when you plug the Powerdrive charger later.
