The batteries are charging just fine through the plug-in but I don't seem to have anything else....I found Sergio's color wiring schematic and the testing info so I will try that but I am still concerned about the brown wire that was attached to the light.
boss, can you start a new thread so we don't get information crossed up on this one?

Let's focus on the big posts right now. Leave negative on B- the entire time. First find post that has voltage all the time. Then place probe on the other post. It should be 0 with pedal up and pack voltage with pedal down.

You need to remove the pre-charge resistor from the top of the solenoid big posts.

When You do that You can measure the voltage on the Big post that goes to the controller and it should only get +48v once the solenoid closes.

I can physically feel the coil pulling but doesn't feel like it is pulling in all the way like the contacts aren't fully releasing should have looked at the solenoid closer before buying MCOR and upgrading controller gonna get a new solenoid if that don't fix it I will be asking more questions at the least my girl will have a cart that is like new having replaced all the electrical parts not to mention the shocks seat covers new paint ah the things we do for our kids but they are worth it
