Going to put an extra 12v batt. In the bagwell. As anyone else did this? I'm looking for ideas for ways to secure it?
my cart is an 06 cc ds. |

Re: Bagwell battery
I had one for a while until I went with a smaller lawn and garden battery. I just used a rubber bungee cord.

Re: Bagwell battery
I've got one on my '07 CC ds. Got the best battery box off E-Bay. It's called a Smart Marine Battery Box, (14108697533 $33.95. Has Two external 12 volt DC auxiliary outputs for accessories. •Two exposed terminals posts with heavy duty 7 gauge cables – Use or charge your battery without opening your Marine Smart Box. Battery status LED indicator – Indicates the battery voltage and if you need to recharge the battery. I made a battery hold down that runs through the bottom of the box and out the bottom of the bagwell and secures with a couple of brackets. It also comes with a strap that I use to hold the lid on the box. IMO this is the best set up for a bagwell battery. I have all my accessories running off this battery and my main pack powers the motor only.

Re: Bagwell battery
My '07 is an IQ with the run/tow switch under the seat. I don't have that much room. Besides I like the extra weight in the back when I'm plowing snow with my cart

Re: Bagwell battery
I run 8 6v batts and put 2 in the bag well. I used the original battery hold downs. Then made a box to cover it all.
