Check the battery voltage with your multimeter while attempting to operate the car. See if the voltage drops.

Clamp your DVM leads to the main positive and negative connections on the pack, then watch the reading as you attempt to drive. If it drops considerably, your batteries are weak.

Are you familiar with where the main (+) and (-) terminals are on your cart?

I have not been listening a i should, i think, and its my fault. You guys have all tried to help me, and i really do appreciate the help. I was looking back thru some posts on these ;Alpha premium gel- deep cell batteries.195xl batteries that are in my cc.I really think they are the culprit now. Been putting them off for sometime, you know how that works/ gottem free WRONG batts - but free. So please tell me this... I need regular 8 volt batteries ..any type . for that matter. They are "deep cycle".not gel is this the right thinking? Duracells from Sams club. This cart was fine, worked great- but something inside me, is telling me, as you guys did, that the [alpha preimum cell's]don't charge, and stay up as they should, do air pockets in the gel, after me using and charging them since 2003. Am i on the right track ?So gotta get some money together and buy the right ones bob s

I think you're not tell him the whole story either you washed your cart or did something else but just replacing the batteries is not going to fix your problem even with dead batteries I could make the car move a few feet in both directions you probably blew your controller

Bob I'm sorry I didn't mean to be mean but when people try to help and you don't know how to measure battery pack, you don't know what the controller is, you don't know what An MCOR is, you don't know how to use your meter, This makes it impossible for us to help you you're going to need to read some more on the site learn what these things are and how to test them look up Sergio's posts read through all of them do some of those tests .

Far as going back, on troubleshooting electrical won't help me much. ohms and impedance watts and such. i just never learned anything about. I should get it diagnosed in a shop maybe. sorry if i am not smart on theses carts , ...now -once i learn it! if that happens. I won't bother anyone from here. tahoe has been tryin to help . will call him again bob

I like to help people fix their carts themselves as much as the next guy but, I don't think it is unfair for forum members to call business owners and take valuable productive shop time to help you try to learn how to fix your cart. That is what the forum is for.... I'm not singling you out although you fit into the group. There is little we as professionals can do that can't be done here if you just apply yourself to the tests and information requested here. Personally I think if you cant get it here and a call to David didn't fix it then taking the cart to a qualified technician would be the best step toward getting the problem identified.
I see some of the people who are trying to help here are frustrated with your response. This tells me they are asking you to do this or that and you either can not do what is asked or cannot give the information requested - it won't be any different no matter who you call.
Again not singling you out - just making an observation from being on this forum for so many years and seeing this repair process so many times.
If you are having trouble with the multi test meter there are many good tutorials on line to help with these simple skills.
