I want to test the tail light wiring, there are 3 wires. What are they?

Find the two wires that have 12 volts on them with the light sw on and that's the tail lights. Next find the two wires that have 12v on them with the brake sw pushed and that's the brake/turn signal. The one wire in use for both situations is the common wire.

Black is ground

White is Stop/Turn Driver Side

Brown is running light

You'll see a yellow on the passenger side instead of the white.

My original light power got ate up so I rewired my lights so they run my extra 12V battery in the back instead of off one of my drive batteries.
My brake lights have never worked since I bought the cart. Thats one of things I want to get working.

Your correct, the red was actually on my LED light and not the actual golfcart harness. I just wanted to check the wiring first with a meter before plugging my lights back in.
I rewired the headlights and they work, just have the tail lights and try to to figure out the brake lights and its done.
