Default Club car IQ and alltrax help

My cart will not move until the gas pedal is at least half way down. The solenoid activates as soon as I push the pedal but no movement until at least half throttle. Is there a setting in the alltrax that I can change to correct this?

There is a throttle map (3.A) that will help but, at issue are 2 problems with the cart. One is the MCOR is not being moved ( throttled up ) as soon as the pedal begins to move. This is a mechanical problem that can be helped and the fix is well documented on this website.
Second is an MCOR issue. You may need a new one, what year is the cart?

It's a 2010 Precedent.

I don't think the mechanical problem you mentioned applies. The microswitch in the mcor clicks as soon as I push the pedal 1/4".

The lot you bought are probably all going to have the same issue. Talk to David.

I did. He doesn't deal with alltrax so he suggested I ask Sergio.

Scottyb, I talked to him and explained that I've never used Alltrax controllers so I don't know anything about their programming software. I've always used GE and Curtis. I know I saw somewhere on here where somebody was having problems achieving full throttle on an Alltrax, but I can't remember the fix.

I think this may be the thread David is talking about:

http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...-annoying.html

The actual circuit is on post #31, but the entire thread is about the throttle issue.

ScottyB actually took it from paper and built one for testing

The circuit assumes an IQ harness where there are no additional resistors in the harness.

First of all we need to know what your settings are. Especially the throttle sensor type and the throttle response curve. You need a laptop with a serial/usb connection. I would like to add that the Alltrax is not plug and play and can become challenging at times. But stick with it and you'll be happy you did.

After further thought it is more important to check that you are getting 100% throttle. It really doesn't matter at what throttle position it starts moving as long as it gets to 100% and full speed.
