Default Precedent Speed Sensor

I'm working on an 06 Precedent for a friend of mine. New batteries, cables, tires, lift kit, etc. His kids had complained of it being extremely slow, but it had a broken front spindle when I got it so not able to verify. So I got everything installed, charged the batteries and what do you know. It runs about 8 mph flat out. So I did the speed sensor test and it failed. No braking and no sound of any kind, so I am assuming it needs a new speed sensor. It has the ADC motor with the top hat sensor. Since I haven't replaced one before, is it just as simple as unplugging and removing the two screws?

Yes.... Sounds like a good time to invest in a speed magnet too....

I looks like the speed sensor comes with a magnet in the kit from what I can tell. So if I have to change that too, might as well get the speed version. Just not knowing what is involved is the question.

I just looked on YouTube and it looks like just taking off the two screws and unplugging the sensor does it. It also looks like the magnet is held on by a small bolt, so this should be a piece of cake.
