I just put a Curtis 350 amp controller on my cart. Very little if any difference in run time. Think of it like having a larger carburetor on a car. As long as you keep you foot out of it, there want be much difference. I'm sure if I went hill climbing I could climb faster and go up steeper hills. Playing golf which is what I do it holds speed better going up hills on the golf course, some of my golfing friends are just FAT. and it really helps.

Solid 25 mph level ground. Just keeps going faster down hill. On a hill I tested stock cart on before any mods, I got 11 mph. Now I get 16 mph.

That is with stock size wheels 17.5 in to top of tire from ground.
