Biting the battery conversion bullet...
Well my four 12vt batts are shot, so I think I'm gonna do the DIY conversion.
I found a local dealer that has Crown 8v for $615 out the door for the pack. One question I have is about the additional battery cables. I cant afford to upgrade to a whole new set right now so I'm wondering what length/lengths Ill need to wire up the new pack. Any advise/input is welcome and needed. Thanks! CB |

I'm assuming it's the Precedent in your avatar photo. What year model is it?

Re: Biting the battery conversion bullet...
I was wasting time today reading my Golf Cart Parts catalog. In there was a picture of a new battery bucket for about $400. My question would you need the new bucket or would the 6 new batteries fit were the old 4 batteries went?

Re: Biting the battery conversion bullet...
Yes, I'm goin to modify the existing tub as described in the DIY thread. Pulled the old batts out last night and will go pick up the new ones this morning. Still have to figure out the extra cables....
