Can you use a series motor on a IQ club car?
I have a 2011 club car ds. It has a 3.1hp motor.
It is a 48 volt IQ cart. A guy has a motor for sale that is part # 170-510-0002 d&d motors high speed motor 48volt 5.1 hp. Can I swap this motor with mine to make a difference or no? Just trying to make it faster

Series and Sepex motors and controller are totally different, it will not work.
Since you have an IQ cart, have You already tried a speed magnet?
Pretty cheap and will get you close to 19mph using all the stock parts.
