Can you use a series motor on a IQ club car?
I have a 2011 club car ds. It has a 3.1hp motor.
It is a 48 volt IQ cart. A guy has a motor for sale that is part # 170-510-0002 d&d motors high speed motor 48volt 5.1 hp. Can I swap this motor with mine to make a difference or no? Just trying to make it faster |

Series and Sepex motors and controller are totally different, it will not work.
Since you have an IQ cart, have You already tried a speed magnet? Pretty cheap and will get you close to 19mph using all the stock parts. |
