Well tahoe.it worked a little. I have reverse now.........everytime. I hit the pedal. But when you put switch in forward,It clicks one loud click, and short muffled smaller clik .quite faint every, single time. The wheels don't take off and go forwards at all.. I had a friend had a "newer sensor' in a drawer, but won't get to try it in time, This sensor may not help the forward movement or will it?once i install it. (speed sensor)Tahoe thanks for helping me this far, .This friend of mine;also says try this used switch, if it don't work no problem. So where do i look now, or what do i look under in the stickeys ?/
'
I think i forgot maybe i didn't but...i put a new solenoid in it.And it clicks lots louder now??.

i'd like to use it next weekend at our kar show, if not thats ok too.

Haven't bought any parts. i tried a used switch and no luck with that.same guy had the used sensor. previously used by him. He thought i should try, in fact he had other junk also used, try first find the problem then replace it with new parts. Good way to do it. Couldn't have built my kars without old stuff using used first ,to make sure they would work. If you don't to help me my tough luck i guess said i buy from you and meant it bob s have a good weekend

You're jumping to conclusions Bob. It doesn't matter to me who you buy from. I'd love to sell parts to you, but if you want to buy from Scotty, Nick, or anybody else on this forum that is perfectly fine with me. The fact of the matter is simple..... If your car will run reverse with the Orange wire jumped to Blue but won't run forward with the orange wire jumped to brown, the controller is bad. Something has damaged the circuit that makes it go forward. Probably whatever it was that damaged your original solenoid. If you'd replace the controller I think you'll be good to go. I'm not ignoring you or avoiding you in any way. I'm 32 years old with 3 children (6 mo, 22 mo, and 8 years) and my wife is out of town this weekend so I've been spread pretty thin. They just went to bed so I'm gonna be on here now probably until midnight or so.

GOOD MORNING VIETNAM!!From a Robin williams movie in the 70s. David i read the last idea you sent me .About the orange wire jumped to the blue. Heres whats going on @ this moment,, As i read this paragraph again,MY F/R runs in reverse . There are no jumper wires (orange to blue)attached to the switch to make this happen. How does this change the dynamic of that ..last conclusion you made. My old!........... first solenoid was just getting weaker with age. The new one is working. so well .i think ,It clicks loudly, i think the neighbor next door can probably hear it.As i said the gas pedal ,electric pedal,.is clickin faintly. Can't really tell where its coming from. When you get anything please let me know. Far any help around me, theres lots of space and farmers in the fields, so help is at a premium. than you Tahoe dawg z71
