Okay, just to be clear, because reading the above sounds like you are comparing the front wheels to the rear wheels, when you say front measures 1/8" less than the rear, you do mean the measurement between the center of the tread in front of the front tires is 1/8" less than the measurement between the center of the tread at the back of the front tires, correct? The front end measurements do not need to be related to the rear tires at all with respect to alignment. It's probably just the way you worded it, but wanted to make sure.

Yes, Sorry

I did use a 6' level to square off the front tires to the rear to just have as a starting point

But I measured front tires only , and have 1/8th difference front the front/front to the front/rear

I'm going to take it for a test drive now ! Can't wait!

Test drive went great ! Came back though, and I guess when I tightened everything up, I'm alittle off again

Front/Front tires are now 1/2 " wider then the front/rear of the tire

I'm going to re-adjust it now again

A few times jacking it up and down, rolling it 15' in between each small adjustment, it's perfect

Going to take the wife and dogs to park which is 3 miles away

Wife says she needs a ladder now to get into the cart, lol

I'll check again when we return home

Thanks again for everyone's help

Once I got the idea, it took minutes to toe everything right in

Go figure, call it luck or what, but steering wheel is right @ 12:00 and I have equal threads on both sides

If you set the wheels to toe out, don't be surprised if the stearing wheel does not return to center after turns, or the cart wants to wonder while driving.

I just took it for a 6 mile round trip to the park

Rode great, very stable and love the sound of the new 23" tires

2 Small issues

The 2 front tires are at equal lengths , so I need a small adjustment. If I'm looking at the cart sitting in front of it, the left tie rod goes up using a 12mm wrench, and the right side goes down to toe it in right? Right now I have 30-1/4" on both the front / front and front/rear of the front tires

2nd small issue was while I'm driving straight, the steering wheel is off just a small amount , about 5 degrees

I'll chase it this week once I get the alignment done 100%

Camber was out 1/8th on the drivers side and 1/2" on the passenger

Had to reset the Camber adjustments , and fine tune the Tie rod adjustments

Steering wheel is at the 1:00 clock position now, so I will have to chase the tires during the week

On my last few adjustments again

Salt Life , not to change subjects, but were having the whole cart airbrushed for around $1K in a salt life theme, and the body changed to black to do it

The first picture is going on the hood is the sunken ship wreck , I'm going to add divers to it

The next few pictures are going to be around the cart copied off the web

Yes the front of the tires should be 1/8 inch closer together than the back. What happens is when you drive they spread back open to straight, this is true on almost all vehicles, my airplane had 1/8 inch toe-in. The camber will change the toe-in some adjust it first then recheck both when finished.

Edit: The stearing wheel can be aligned using tie rods and drag link. Or the best way for you now would be to just pull it off and re-set it while the wheels are going straight.

Thanks , that's what I had to do

I re-adjusted the camber, which in turn through everything out

So I started with the camber first, and now am doing the alignment

I'm over a inch toed in right now do to making the camber adjustments

So I removed the tie rods, centered everything again, and making the adjustments now for the alignment

I'm not sure why the camber adjustment went out so much. I was off 1/4" on one side, and 1/2" on the other

When adjusting the camber, I kept moving the cart in and out of my garage

I think by backing it up 15', and moving back into the garage between each adjustment on the camber threw something off

I just read you should only move forward on the camber adjustments

The only way to do would be do it in the street and keep moving it foward
