2004 Club Car DS Light Kit
I was going to order a light kit for my 04 Club Car DS like this one from Revolution Golf Cars, but I am curious about the Voltage Reducer. If the kits come with one, can I hook a stereo to that too or do I need to buy a completely separate one? Also, it seems to me that buying a 12V UPS battery to run that stuff separately seems better. I have tricked out my sons power wheel and used a separate 12V battery for those accessories to keep from running the juice down on the ones for operating it.

Re: 2004 Club Car DS Light Kit
I don't believe those kits include a voltage reducer. The debate about using a reducer vs. a separate battery has been ongoing here for years. If you go the reducer route, go with Scotty's. http://cartsunlimited.net/DC_Reducer.html
It's a 30 amp, which will provide plenty of power for lights, stereos, etc. |
