Battery cable replacement is the basis for a solid cart electrical system. If you try and run upgraded parts with the old nasty 6AWG wires you will probably end up smoking a post. (which will cost more to replace than a set of wires) Upgrading to 4AWG or even 2AWG will give you a good foundation from which to work with. It's not all that expensive to do. Most sets are less than $100 including the motor wires. Battery only sets are typically under $30. I sell like 40-50 sets a month on ebay......sometimes more than I care to make.
