Need some advice on this V-Glide
So I've been having intermittent power problems with my cart. It'll go and lose power or just not go at all. However the solenoids are clicking. The research I've done has led me to conclude that I have an issue with the V-Glide on my cart. The cart is a 97 Regen 1 with a replaced, silver controller. I've cleaned the contacts and to me it looks as if the wiper arm isn't making full contact with the V-Glide it's self. I haven't tested anything yet but the resistors look quite beat up and covered in crud.
As always, any help is greatly appreciated. |

your wiper switch looks warn and misalined (sp)
check aliment  resistors don't need to look good to work i think this is the correct ohms for a 97 too  |

That diagram looks just like what I have. Any ideas on cleaning the lugs and wires off of the resistors? I tried alcohol and a wire bush but them at didn't do a whole lot.

be careful lugs are copper.... i've used emery cloth
resistors maybe emery cloth too.... ??? |

Got some at work I can steal. Thanks man! We'll see what happens tomorrow. Also gonna test the glide and microswitch just to rule them out. Semmes like it may be a contact issue judging the wear on the copper.

Also how would you adjust the arm? The bolt on the arm conected to the go pedal?

Because in a prior thread, you described "one or two minutes" of no-go followed by "eventual go" when you push the pedal (and because they are cheap) - I'd replace that micro switch as an absolute given. Also make sure the spade connectors that lead to it are clean and tight. But CTD is right - the rest of the unit looks like it could use a healthy dose of service too.
