Default Resurrection of my 82 CC BARN FIND

I'm new to this but somewhat mechanically inclined and am attempting the impossible I think. I've read a lot of great info on here which will be a huge help along the way. image.jpg

It's going to take time and money but I will try to post the progress along the way. I'm just starting the tear down.

Awesome find, and believe it or not, that thing has a bullet proof drive system that some say is more reliable than the modern stuff...

Welcome to BGW, and nice find! Like those rear tires.

Your rear body is newer than 82, it is a 93+ style. From what I can see though, the rest looks right for 82. The body being newer is common, the newer bodies are better and more resistant to breaking anyhow.

Yeah, beside the body being fadded its not cracked so it sure turn out fine with some paint. I checked the serial number plate which starts with a82xxxxxx so i figured it was an 82. Its going to take time as i will be on the hunt for parts as i go along.

That beast looks like it's in great shape! Your battery trays even look good!
Are you planning on keeping the resistor coil/5 solenoid setup?
