Headlight Lens messed up ?

It was my fault......

Long story short, I took the headlights completely appart to clean and paint the faded plastic and polish up the chrome lens so I tried some wax and next thing I know it did not turn out shinny. I thought it was chrome dipped, but guess I was wrong.

So instead of buying a new complete headlight set for 52 bucks off ebay, what do ya'll recommend to fix this issue. I tried the chrome paint and no luck! thanks

You could use the foil tape for duct work that is available at all hardware stores. It sticks really well and if it gets wet it won't lift off. It's a cheap wall to fix.

Good deal, I may have to try that out. I tried over the weekend to get a good chrome finish by trying a few different paints and just dont want to buy new ones if only one lens is messed up. I will try to tape and post up some pics and see what yall think. Agian, thanks for the help everyone!

Well I just like to say the tape worked really well, I will take a picture this afternoon and post it up. Alot better than buying new ones and trying to spray chrome! Thanks again
