Below are the parts replaced (I'm sure I forgot something)

Front single seat back, Front bottom seat cover and wood, cowl trim blind nuts, folding rear seat, headlights and tail lights, front body, 6" double a arm lift, Bandit motor, rear axle, differential, brakes, controller, F/R switch, solenoid, potentiometer/throttle switch, steering bellows, tie rod/steering ends, front hubs.bearings, races, fuse block, terminal strips, aux relay, DC/DC converter, dash, steering wheel, voltmeter, windshield, mirror, DC power port, 23" tires/wheels, brake pedal blocks, throttle linkage and ends, dual action rear springs, Caddy Lift, Trojan batteries, 2 AWG cables, all new wiring, front bumper, DPI charger.

Not replaced,.. key switch

Fabrication/Welding

Driver's side seat back support, front bumper plate, battery trays, stress cracks, controller/electronics mounting brackets, side body mounts, solenoid mounting bracket.

Time,.. 1 year

Cost, lost count but probably around 4K

Items sold

Cargo box, resistor coils, kingpin assy, v-Glide, Lester charger

Mistakes?

The Steeling tires/wheels are very bouncy on the road. So much that my two year old started singing 'people on the bus bounce up and down,..' Wish I had known that before I bought them.

A larger motor may have been nice but with the bouncing of the tires I probably wouldn't want to go any faster anyway.

The mirror is so convex that it is too distorted for my liking. Will look into another mirror.

The madjax steering wheel looks good but seems sort of flimsy on the bottom portion.

And lastly, I would like front disc brakes. I have lots of hills at home and at the lake and when the cart is loaded sometimes it slides if the terrain is soft.

Things left
I will build and install a trailer hitch, build a new grab bar that can have the top removed down to the cargo bed level, and possibly front disc brakes.

I would email them and ask if they would replace the bad tires for you...never hurts to ask...

It's been two months since I ordered them but I just sent them a message and will see what they say. Previously on another issue their customer service was excellent but on that one it was resolved early on. Will update when I hear back.

Very nice job indeed! You really brought that cart back to life! It's nice to rebuild something from the frame up, knowing every single wire and nut/bolt that was replaced.

Thanks chute! Ncpw, I do still have the vintage keyswitch but that's all left from the electrical side.
Since my postings, there are a couple of other things that I would have done differently. I would have used slightly smaller tires, I would not (and never again) buy a DPI charger. Leaning towards a Lester. And I would have purchased a torque motor due to the hills at home and at the lake.

Not sure how I missed this for over a year, but you did an amazing job on that cart!

You've got to make one of those pictures your avatar...

Just curious, why don't you like the DPI?
