Mounting a converter in a 04 Club Car DS
I now have my 48-12V converter, lights, and 12v outlets. But I'm not sure of the best place to mount the converter? Should it go on the plate the control module is on in the back or mount it in the battery compartment under the seat? Was looking for tips from people who have done this, wasn't sure if there was a standard spot people like to us.

Before I switched to a 12v battery my converter was bolted in the frame well. It looked very nice and fitted well. |

Is a converter still required on a 4x12 setup? I heard it's best so you don't put the wear on only one battery

It is not required, but it helps keep the batteries balanced. You could change which battery you use for your 12 volt stuff every week and you would be fine.
