Default Plastikote vs Herculiner

Going to be using the either plastikote or herculiner to paint the body of my 99 ds club car. Wanted to see if anyone has experience with plastikote or herculiner? Plastikote is around $30 cheaper a gallon but don't want to waste my time if it's not worth it. Thanks in advance! !

I have used the Herculiner to paint frame rails, wheel wells, fender flares, and bumpers. I even used it to paint some 3/8" diamond plate laid across the driveway. Its pretty nice stuff. It holds up well and wasn't to difficult to apply. I used the roll-on/brush-on application. Not sure how well the spray-can stuff will work. Follow the instructions. I applied 2-3 coats and its not coming off.

As with any "paint" job, the prep work is the key. And, Herculiner needs to be used with "Xylene" to clean surfaces and/or remove it from unintended spots

I sprayed the body of my DS with rattle can Bed Armor. As well as a number of other things. Goes on good, lays out nice, and is easy to touch up.

Sprayed my diamond plate bed caps on my truck with it two years ago, and its barely faded after being in the sun and weather 24/7 and holding up well..

Sprayed my entire DS body and top with 6 cans. Meaning less than $75. Looks cool, IMO.
