Precedent won't run...tried all I know
Been reading the site for a year or 2 but decided to join because have came across a problem I can't figure out. I have an 09 club car precedent 48 volt (6 8 volt batteries) with iq system. So I ran my 6 month old batteries completely dead where charger would not turn on so I took some advice and hooked another 48 volt cart via jumper cables to get charger to kick on. That worked but it arced when I hooked cables up even in tow mode. After the charger kicked off I tried to take for a spin and got nothing, no reverse buzzer and no movement. I figure I fried my stock controller and was wanting to upgrade so I bought an alltrax 500 amp controller and new solenoid. Hooked it all up and the code blinks correctly reverse buzzer comes on but still no movement. Reset obc and still nothing but still arcs every time I reconnect battery cables in tow mode. Checked each battery and are putting out 8.1 volts each. I am open for any suggestions. Golfing season is here and I need to get running. By the way, don't know if it matters but have lights and radio hooked to voltage reducer and fuse box. They all still work after replacing the blown fuse after initial arc
