Body set showed up at 1:30, half hour before the 2-6 pm window. Not bad! These pictures do not do the quality of the finish any justice. The metallic in it pops big time in the sunlight. I am completely satisfied with the look of these colors through the body color plastic fantastic crap. I had my doubts but this looks tits. It is covered 100% in a plastic protective wrap but when peeled back the color is excellent when revealed. It came on a pallet in one big shrink wrapped cardboard box. Very well protected for shipment.Took 9 days from order to delivery. Ordered a set of wheels and tires should be here next tues or wed.

Took out the 6 yr old batteries and started cleaning the battery bay area,I will replace then with new T105 Trojans unless you know it alls suggest a better for the money battery. What say guys? Its not to bad for a 22 yr old cart considering it wasn't babied or stored inside,,,,,,,like it will be after i'm done with it! I replaced the F/R shaft as i had cut the old one off to get the old handle off since the screw was all but welded to it. Local CC dealer bent me over to the tune of 35 bucks for it. It was a trick pulling the new one thru and hammering in a new roll pin at the same time, as this thing is spring loaded and a mofo if not attacked correctly. I'm sure i didn't do it the correct way

Body looks great! - Price shipped? Can you get it W/O the headlight cutouts.

Not sure where you are getting your wheels/tires but when I ordered mine they were out of the 22's so they
had to give me 23's - I told them I guess that will be alright. :)

1) Body Set Price Shipped -544.00 from " Extremekartz" in Mass. Steve Roach owner/ you call he answers and top notch service. 2) Wheel Tire Set of (4)Ordered from "Golfcartking512" on fleabay 575.00 free shipping,12" RHOX 481 Polished Aluminum Wheel ( Its the same exact wheel as everyone calls the Godfather with a different center cap) and 23x10.5-12 Mojave Tire Golf. I like this tire better than the Sahara as it looks to have a more rounded shoulder, hopefully making steering a little easier otherwise. Any experience in that area AL???

Did your rear deck come with an access hole in it? The older carts didn't. I cut mine in when I replaced the controller. Makes troubleshooting so much easier. Also I like gwagon's placement of the controller (with the lugs pointed inboard). Didn't think of it when I mounted mine.

Looking forward to following your build thread.

Thanks , i'll post some better pics of the body sitting on the frame tomorrow.Yes it has the access hole pre-cut in it as well as headlight and tail light holes pre-cut also. I see that these holes in the new body are bigger than my old lights. My old headlights don't even come close to filling this new hole. What light kit do i buy for these big holes guys? The rear light holes are the same size as my old tail lights but the fronts are not even close. Now i'm confused ! Can anyone educate me on this anomaly. Are the new DS headlights larger than my old original 1992 headlights ? Thanks guys !

Typically you have the option to buy the lights along with the body kit. I wonder if the LED ones I have would fit

There is a curve to this to follow the body lines, so it may not be exact, but it should be close

I think that your cutouts are for the factory lights.
