Nice find!
Thanks bro.It was the only one that came up when i did a google search and for the price i pounced on it. It looks to be in pretty good shape if not mint condition, we'll see when it arrives huh ?

You think it's expensive right now, just wait til you get done and realize what small fortune you spent on miscellaneous hardware alone.

What's worse is when you realize you're loving every minute of this madness.

Dude you are so right. Funny you should say that as i have a folder with all the receipts and the ones i don't know off the top of my head are the SS hardware ones from my local " Pete's Hardware Store". You know, the little purchases. I glanced at them this morning after adding another receipt to Petes section. At least a hundred in SS hardware, electrical parts, paint etc. I stopped looking, I don't want to know. I'll give the folder to my daughter when i give her, her new cart and tell her to add it up, but NEVER tell me the total i spent.I don't want to know. Maybe she'll take better care of it after she knows what i spent to restore it.

Here is some close-ups of the bodies plastic finish. I'm impressed with the quality of this finish. Underside at the seat opening is reinforced as shown in the one pic, where you can see thick plastic 90* thickened edges. The body is on for sh!ts and giggles right now, until after i replace the light kit wiring next week and clean the frame up a little more. I had to buy a 2-1/2" hole saw to cut in the charge port hole.I had every size but 2-1/2 They do not bore this hole from the factory since the DS charge port location is not the same for all years. They did bore the four holes for the F/R switch, headlights and tail lights. So with some painters tape, layout and triple checking, i poked a hole in it. I did discover that the new rear body, on the front face where i drilled is 11-1/4" in height, whereas the old factory fiberglass one was 11-1/2". Now i'm a lowrider by 1/4". The song Tequila with Cheech and Chong just popped into my head.

I'll be a son of a gun. Just looked in my 92 IPL because I was still curious about the whole thing. "Power wiring with solid state controller" was in there the whole time. So it was an option for all of 92

Yeah, that expensive new option that few customers bought, except the original owner of this one ! Woo Hoo Anyone else here have a factory 1992 controller cart. We'll start a club and snub all the others,,,Could you pass the Grey Poupon please And here you said it had to be a 93 or 94. I understand how you went wrong. You see i am a know it all too, i just can't recall it all at once either.

That's just it. None of us have even heard of a 92 Controller cart. I am willing to bet even TahoeDawg (Club Car Tech) hasn't even heard of it!

I asked him once, he said 93 and 94 were the only two years be knew of. Definitely cool to know it was available in 92 also.

That body finish looks good!!!
