Installed the newly arrived rocker covers. The wheels will stay in the boxes until the very end, they'll get scratched up soon enough. I put the front cowl on sh!ts and giggles just to see it on, but it will stay off until the dash is installed which will be day after tomorrow. There will be a digital volt meter installed in the new carbon fiber look dash also along with a voltage reducer mounted next to the stock Curtis controller. Pics of results will follow soon after installation

Those headlight cutouts look kinda large. What are their dimensions? I've ordered the body from Doubletake also.

Blitz, I am really enjoying this thread, as much for the project progress as some of the reasons behind it. Your references about your Dad and Daughter resonate with me. My Dad also died too soon, but lives on in me, and like you I would do just about anything for my daughter.
I gotta start learning how to work on these things!

My baby girl is 15 months old but when she gets older I think it will help her to develop driving skills before getting behind the wheel of a car. Until she's ready, she can enjoy the ride.

My daughter just this week, got a chance to drive in the Richard Petty school, on the race track. She was bragging about running it up to a 110mph. I laughed because I had my Grand Fury Police cruiser faster than that, years ago when I was a cop.

I was up to 110mph with my BMW 2 years ago while i was in Texas, with the top down. That was fast enough for me. Its not the best car but its what makes me happy.
