Default Batteries Age & Battery Light

New to the golf cart world. Recently purchased a 2004 Club Car DS IQ >> 48 volt (6 ea 8 volt batteries) in great shape..
1) How do you tell/confirm age of batteries?.. I was told they were about 1 yr. old. I can't find date anywhere. Only info is: PowerDrive 8 volt ; battery pn 103719701 ; distributed by club car, augusta, ga. There is also another sticker that has corrosive & also L11 on it.

2) Battery light comes on and off when key switch is turned off and toggle switch is in run position. Doesn't matter if charger is plugged into cart or not. Has just started doing this. Can turn key switch on and push accelerator, light goes off & it quits going on/off. Any thoughts / help would be greatly appreciated.

L-11 probably is December 2011

I believe the light on/off is normal but someone else can confirm this

Thanks Qman97.
I wondered bout batteries and what the L11 meant. I thought 2011, did not know what month. And this was all later on after buying cart & getting it home. Guess people told me wrong, when they said roughly year old.
