OBC Bypass or Completely Removing
Club Car 96 DS 48V series cart, all new Trogan T875s and a new DPI charger setup to bypass the OBC.
Right now my plan is to run a 10 awg wire from the negative on the charging receptacle to the main negative on the battery packs and run a jumper from the negative on the solenoid to the B- on the controller and eliminating the black and grey wire from the charging receptacle.
My question is, after looking at the wiring diagram, is it a better option to completely remove the OBC by just taking the black wire running from the OBC to the B- on the controller and cutting the yellow wire from the OBC to the solenoid and splicing them together. Than removing the red wire from the solenoid to the OBC and completely removing all function to the OBC?
Here is the diagram I was using for reference.

Re: OBC Bypass or Completely Removing
I'd remove it completely. After you've done both of those wiring modifications, it's no longer hooked to anything. There's no need in having it in there.
